The Rockport Group releases Twenty One Clairtrell at Bayview & Sheppard, uses iPad incentive
July 29, 2010
The Rockport Group recently released Twenty One Clairtrell, a seven-storey boutique building with 128 suites. The building is located on a one-acre property, one block north and west of Bayview and Sheppard.
“You can enjoy the pleasures of a slower-paced, calmer life in a traditional North York neighbourhood where when you look out your windows, you see trees and lawns and green spaces, where the nights are free of traffic noises and the days are filled with neighbours walking the dog or mowing the lawn,” says Rockport President Jack Winberg. “Within five minutes walk, you can be shopping or dining at Bayview Village or catching the Sheppard subway to head downtown.”

The building is designed by Kirkor Architects & Planners and with interiors by Mike Niven Interior Design. Suites range from 550 square feet to 2,400-square-foot penthouses. Prices range from the low $300,000’s to just over $1 million.
This past weekend, the company introduced the use of an iPad to assist in the selling of the new condominiums. They put the renderings and floor plans on the iPad and used it when talking about the project with prospects that came into the sales office.
The potential purchasers were invited to take the iPad home during their rescission period to review the building’s details and were permitted to keep it. For those that decided not to purchase, they were asked to return the iPad to the presentation centre or if they chose to keep it, to reimburse the company for the cost.
The ground level suites have their own private patios, and the suites on floors two through five have balconies. The penthouses on the sixth floor have large terraces. The penthouses on the seventh floor have their own private roof gardens, accessible through and interior staircase.
Amenities include an exercise room, mud room for pets, guest suite, lobby complete with fireplace and concierge on duty for eight hours each day. There is also bicycle storage and a sixth floor terrace complete with its own adjacent lounge and bar.
The suites feature European-inspired cabinetry in the kitchens, a choice or quartz or granite countertops, and Energy Star appliances. Baths offer an option of porcelain or glass tiles, marble countertops and frameless and separate glass-encased showers in the master ensuite. Ceilings on the ground floor and in the penthouses are 10 feet, and those in the middle range suites have a nine foot height. Flooring throughout the units is engineered hardwood.
